Building off of Assignment 1.1, I capitalized on the existing channel voids to create directional axis of circulation, with three stairs puncturing them for vertical movement. The interwoven system of voids which derived again from the sections of the underlying grid showcased the intricacies of their intersections, and the resulting forms which were created. To harmonize the existing apartment mass with my existing form, I continued the butterfly roof to provide a pocket of symmetry in the otherwise contrasting form. I began to think of the voids as potential divisions for program and inhabitable space, and extruded some to foster new connections of circulation. Systems in harmony and opposition comprise the entire form, with each part of the whole contingent upon the others.
