Siemens SD100 Trolley

An icon of 1990s San Diego, this 1,738 piece MOC (My Own Creation) of the second generation light rail trolleys used by the Metropolitan Transit System captures the simple and efficient nature these cars brought. Scaled to work with other LEGO rolling stock and minifigures, Its center pivot point allows for rolling over tight radii track curves, while the bold red and black color way embodies MTS livery. Angled geometry for each cab end, and complex building techniques capture the SD100 as accurately as possible, taking just over 150 hours to design.
